Is your rug large enough for at least the front legs of your primary seating to sit on it?

Are your curtains hung high and wide enough to visually enlarge the windows?

Does the room have at least three layers or sources of light?

Can you immediately identify one clear focal point when you enter the room?

Do you have at least three noticeably different textures in the room?

Is your main artwork appropriately scaled to the furniture or wall beneath it?

Does the room include enough contrast to keep it from feeling flat?

Do major finishes or colors repeat at least twice around the room?

Have you edited out small, scattered decor that creates visual clutter?
